The Council of Fire Appliances Standard for Disaster Management (CFASDM) was established for developing performance and quality standard of products dealing with the disaster including terrorism and volcanic eruption. The council evaluates the conformity to the standard,and provides information of the products to the fire departments in local governments through the FDMA.
