The committee judges following performance conditions: equivalency to the standard under the fire service act and regulations, conformity to the notification from the Fire and Disaster Management Agency (FDMA), and effectiveness for fire prevention or fire fighting activity.
The FESC recommends products and IT systems being judged to be effective in the field of fire and disaster prevention.
These products are easily recognized as recommended products by affixing the recommendation marks.
The information on recommended products are notified to the fire departments in local government through the FESC’s website and journals.
